Support Engineer

Salary – circa £44,000

Start Date – ASAP (Notice Period Acceptable)

Location – Commutable from; Doncaster, Leeds, York, North Sheffield, Wakefield, Barnsley

Our global Technology client, based in Yorkshire is looking for a Support Engineer to install and support the organisations market leading call management and service platform throughout their global territories.

Key Responsibilities for the Support Engineer:-

  • Install and trouble shoot specific software platforms (including TSP Suite and associated modules and interfaces)
  • Support all Territories in a structured and customer focuses methodology, including providing training and post installation support as required
  • Installation and support both onsite and remotely the businesses call management platform
  • Provides input to the creation of installation instructions and deployment strategies, including test and validation plans, including test cases
  • Provide excellent Customer Service support including the filtering of issues/incidents and problems that may be identified and require resolution.
  • Identification and engagement with platform delivery partners to enable and support delivery of proposition

Key Skills and Experience for the Support Engineer:-

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with installation and support of business critical systems both on-premise and in the cloud
  • Communication platforms
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • ITIL Service framework and change management practice
  • Installing large customer centric application platforms on-premise and remotely
  • Supporting 24/7 customer application systems in a managed service / Cloud environment
  • Supporting customers on IT and Application platforms
