Salary – Up to £40,000 (D.O.E) 

Start Date – ASAP (Notice Period Acceptable)

My client is a Software Solutions Consultancy who are in growth mode, they have a great team led by a fantastic Senior team, and are looking for an Analyst Developer / Java to join their busy Development team.

This would be an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience with an International company, as well as learning new skills and having the opportunity to work towards progression.

Key Responsibilities of an Analyst Developer / Java is to –

Provide professional Developer expertise to support the successful delivery of project implementations. This will entail:

  • Code and unit test enhancements to an existing JEE Web-Based application
  • Create and review low level designs
  • Liaise with clients to support customer test cycles (e.g. SIT, UAT, OAT etc.)
  • Liaise with 2nd line support to support code changes into Pre-Production and Production Environments
  • Liaise with 3rd line to support code changes going into Production
  • Provide mentorship and code review support for the wider team.
  • Internal solution designing and documentation.
  • Specification of solution enhancements (Application, EDI, Dashboard Charting etc.)
  • Solution enhancement testing and integration testing
  • Liaison with customer and project 3rd parties.
  • Customer support during the implementation phase(s).
  • Post go-live solution hand-over activities.

Key Skills of an Analyst Developer / Java:

  • Java Development with JEE
  • Front-end Web Application experience (HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc.)
  • SQL
  • WebObjects
  • Eclipse IDE
  • Git
