Service Manager

Salary – up to £40,000 (Dependant on Experience)

Commutable From – Chester, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, the Wirral

My client is a leading financial organisation that’re expanding rapidly and going through some extensive periods of growth; they are currently looking for an experienced Service Manager to join their team. You’ll have exposure to some cutting edge technologies and be an integral part of the business moving forward.

The Service Manager’s role is to manage the collaboration of internal teams to fulfil business needs.

Responsibilities of a Service Manager

  • Incident management, tracking and creation of incident reports, along with liaising with stakeholders and IT providers
  • Managing KPI’s, costs and supplier reviews
  • Design, implement and manage the IT Services
  • Develop, implement and coordinate the IT service policies and procedures
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Deliver and Identify service improvement takes

Skills of a Service Manager

  • Enhanced communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experienced in financial services
  • Incident/ problem management
  • Be a clear and ready escalation point in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability of working within complex environments, and have the ability to be technically (and non-technically) knowledgeable when dealing with performance problems
